Tinkers & Tots began at a kitchen table, with a simple wish: fewer flashing, beeping plastic toys — and more of the kind that spark real, hands-on play.

We’re a small, family-run shop curating hands-on toys for curious kids aged 2 to 8. We look for play that invites a child to build, imagine, observe or try something new, while keeping the ordering experience simple.

How do I place an order?

Add the toys you love to your cart, head to checkout, and pop in your name, mobile number and delivery address. We’ll call to confirm, then deliver. You pay in cash when it arrives.

How do I pay?

Right now we offer Cash on Delivery — you pay the delivery person when your order reaches you. Online payment options (cards, mobile wallets) are on the way.

How long does delivery take?

Inside Dhaka, usually 1–3 days. Outside Dhaka, typically 3–5 days. We’ll always confirm timing when we call.

How should I choose for a younger child?

Check the age guidance and description on the product page, consider the child’s abilities and whether the set contains small pieces, and supervise play. If a material, size or contents detail is not listed, ask us before ordering rather than assuming.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Absolutely — just let us know when we call to confirm, or reach us using the details below, before it ships.

Shipping & delivery

• Inside Dhaka: ৳70 delivery, usually 1–3 days.
• Outside Dhaka: ৳120 delivery, usually 3–5 days.
• Free delivery on orders over ৳2,500.
• We’ll call to confirm your order and delivery window before dispatch.

Returns & exchanges

If a toy arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll make it right — a replacement or a refund. Just contact us within 3 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. Because hygiene matters for children’s toys, we can only accept returns of unused items in their original packaging (damaged-in-transit items excepted).

Privacy

We keep this simple. The details you give us at checkout — your name, mobile number, delivery address and, if you choose to share it, your email — are used only to confirm and deliver your order. We don’t sell them, and we don’t pass them to anyone beyond the courier who brings your toys.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the shop — which toys get looked at, which pages people leave from — so we can stock better and make the site easier to use. It tells us about visits and patterns, not who you are, and it is never linked to your order details. If you’d rather not be counted, your browser’s “Do Not Track” or an ad/analytics blocker will keep you out of it.
